Devin Johnson's small business, Makeshift Accessories, allows him to tell a story about humanity with every piece he creates. Years of tinkering has lead him to create unique new products that give new life to vintage pieces. From machine plate cuffs that capture the beauty of vintage machinery to repurposed cymbals, coins, and other reclaimed pieces, Devin takes pride in salvaging items many may overlook. He also feels his artistic endeavors should be environmentally friendly and sustainable.

Donovan Daniel's "Grizzled Teddy" company is so much more than amazing products for the bearded man in your life. While creating beard oils, beard butter, and combs from their home studio in PA, Donovan and his wife have also made it their mission to encourage men to take better care of themselves both inside and out. Chautauqua Institution's President, Michael E. Hill, tried the Grizzled Teddy beard butter this spring (before the summer shave) and says it worked great at keeping his beard and skin moisturized ("it felt great!"). Even if the guy in your life doesn't think they need it, sometimes we just have to give a little encouragement for them to try some pampering.
