Recently featured in an exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum, these pieces are part of Trecy Bleich's Rice Collection. We have a very limited number of these earrings, which are hand-beaded with Japanese glass and 14K gold-filled beads and finished with 14K gold-filled ear wire. The pieces were created to represent women of West Africa who were brought by forced migration to America during the 17th and 18th centuries, specifically for their skill in rice cultivation. The colors of the collection represent blue for water and green for the color of the rice plant. We also have Trecy's Rice Stack necklaces available.
