A great little book for jotting down life's essentials. Each of these handmade, fair trade, and eco-friendly leather covered books are embossed by rural Indian crafts people. Inside, you'll find about 60 pages of plain, unlined khadda paper which is made from unbleached recycled cotton left over from the massive garment industry in India. It's handmade, doesn’t contain any chemicals, and while it's very easy to write on, it's not recommended for fountain pen use. The paper is made by charity in rural Rajasthan that promotes women’s education and their social standing in the rural villages. The embossing on the covers has been done with small individual handmade tools making each notebook unique. Appx 6" x 4.5"
